You can have the best technology, systems, and business model, but it’s the PEOPLE who make it special.

Grateful for the leadership, friendships, opportunities, and incredible people I get to build alongside.

As I reflect on this past week and get ready for a new one, I can’t help but feel incredibly grateful.

Not just for the opportunities and exciting new chapters, but for the doors that closed, too.

The rejections. The partnerships that didn’t work out. The relationships that were only meant for a season. Even the things I once prayed for that I’m now grateful didn’t happen.

I’ll be the first to admit, some of those things really hurt. I questioned myself, cared way too much about what people thought, and sometimes made myself smaller just to keep the peace.

But the older I get, the more I realize that not everything we lose is a loss.

Sometimes people are only meant to be part of a chapter, not the whole story. And that’s okay.

One thing I believe more than ever is that God gave each of us gifts, and He didn’t give them to us so we could spend our lives playing small.

We can’t keep holding ourselves back because we’re afraid of being judged, disappointing someone, or losing relationships along the way.

This past week was such a beautiful reminder of how far I’ve come, how much I’ve grown, and how much there still is to look forward to.

I’m learning to have faith, hold on a little less tightly, and be grateful for all of it. Even the hard parts.

Sometimes the things that didn’t work out are the very things that make room for what’s next.

God, I’m grateful. 🙏🏼🤍

And maybe that’s a reminder someone else needs today, too ...

Sometimes we’re so focused on where we’re going that we forget how far we’ve actually come. 

Yesterday, I had the honor of speaking at the @promisesseminar, where I shared something really personal.

I introduced everyone to Little Raquel.

The little girl from Union City, CA who grew up in a crowded house, had big dreams, and no idea what life had in store for her.

If I could go back, I’d tell her that she’s going to do things she never imagined and experience opportunities she never thought possible. But I’d also tell her that life won’t always be easy. There will be heartbreak, failures, loss, and some really hard seasons.

And through it all, she’ll learn that success is about so much more than what she accomplishes.

But you know what? Sometimes I still need to hear those same words today.

We’re so busy chasing what’s next that we forget to appreciate how far we’ve come and everything it took to get here.

Maybe the things we’d tell our younger selves are exactly what we need to hear today.

And if I could give Little Raquel a hug, I’d tell her, “You’re going to be okay. Have courage, have faith, and keep showing up.” ...

What if it turns out better than you imagined?

After more than 20 years in business, I’d be lying if I told you I don’t still get scared.

I do.

I have fears.
I second-guess myself. I get uncomfortable.

But there’s also a part of me that keeps asking…
What if?
What if this is exactly what I’ve been wanting?
What if the uncomfortable part is actually pulling me into my next chapter?

I’m entering an era where I’m willing to explore new things.

Say yes to things that scare me.

Build things I’ve never built before.
And give myself permission to want something different.

Because I know my kids are watching.

I can’t keep telling them to play bigger, bet on themselves, and go after what they really want if I’m not willing to do the same.

Maybe courage isn’t about not being scared.
Maybe it’s being scared and going anyway.

Because I’d rather find out what’s on the other side than look back one day and wonder what would’ve happened if I had gone for it.

So instead of asking…
What if it doesn’t work?

I’m asking:
What if it turns out even better than I imagined?

Do it anyways my friend! 🚀 ...

You never regret showing up for the people who matter.

48 hours in Chicago celebrating my friend and partner @vickysilvano1 as she made history in being the first Filipina to be the Chicago Association of Realtors president. We are so grateful for your leadership in this industry.

But this trip was really about showing up.

Showing up for people who have shown up for you.

Celebrating the people you love when they win.

Making time for relationships that have lasted through different seasons.

And pouring into people whenever you have the opportunity.

There will always be another meeting, another goal, another thing to chase.

But some of the best parts of this journey are relationships and the people you meet along the way. ...
