You never regret showing up for the people who matter.
48 hours in Chicago celebrating my friend and partner @vickysilvano1 as she made history in being the first Filipina to be the Chicago Association of Realtors president. We are so grateful for your leadership in this industry.
But this trip was really about showing up.
Showing up for people who have shown up for you.
Celebrating the people you love when they win.
Making time for relationships that have lasted through different seasons.
And pouring into people whenever you have the opportunity.
There will always be another meeting, another goal, another thing to chase.
But some of the best parts of this journey are relationships and the people you meet along the way.
I’m learning that saying yes to every opportunity isn’t the same as growing it might be the opposite.
As an entrepreneur, it’s easy to confuse capacity with alignment.
Just because you can build it, lead it, fix it or make it work doesn’t mean it deserves your time.
Every yes costs something:
time, energy, focus, presence or freedom.
So in this season, I’m asking a better question:
If I say yes to this, what am I saying no to?
Not everything good belongs in this season. 🤍
Doing this #80trend brought me back to the aqua net days and it also made me think about what I would say to my younger self.

You don’t need everyone to like you.
This ’80s trend took me back to my school years.
Watching Saved by the Bell and wanting that friend group. Being involved in student government and sports, having different circles of friends, and still wondering where I fit.
I thought being popular meant you’d always be invited.
I wanted friendships that felt real, and I had big dreams I was still figuring out.
Here’s what I’d tell that girl:
Keep putting yourself in rooms. Meet different people. Let them get to know the real you, including how ambitious you are.
You can be a good friend without trying to be everyone’s favorite.
Go after the life you want, and make time for the people you love. There’s room for both. 🤍
Looking back at August, I realized how many of these moments almost didn’t happen because I almost talked myself out of them.
I couldn’t even get on a flight home at one point.
I questioned the timing.
I overthought more than I probably needed to.
But somewhere along the way, I stopped trying to have it all figured out and just went for it.
Funny enough, those ended up being some of the best parts of the month.
I think we spend so much time waiting to feel ready or to have clarity when sometimes you just need to put yourself in the room and see what happens.
August was a good reminder of that.
Go. Do the thing. Adjust if you need to.
Get in the room. Take on the opportunity.
You never know what can come from it.
Some people learn AI.
And some people INSTALL AI.
Yesterday, we had solo agents, team owners + brokerage owners in one room doing exactly that.
Not chasing the newest tool.
Not collecting prompts.
Not trying to become AI experts.
We started with the BUSINESS.
Where are you the bottleneck?
What’s eating up your team’s time?
Where are you losing opportunities?
What could operate faster, better or more profitably?
Then, we packed the day with 8 Installs!
That’s the difference.
I’ve spent years inside different business models, strategizing every single week with business owners who are actively scaling.
And one thing I know:
You don’t need more AI information. You need to know where AI belongs in YOUR business.
Because the goal isn’t to get better at AI.
The goal is to use AI to build a better business.
And the conversations happening in that room yesterday? 🔥
This is where things are going.
These people were committed to travel in the heat and get this done.

@guilleana_realtor is a top producer. She already has a successful business, a great team and systems that are working.
She didn’t come to Scottsdale because something was broken.
She came because she wanted to stay ahead.
So we spent the day upgrading how her business operates tightening her marketing and positioning, implementing AI into her existing systems, and knocking out projects that had been sitting for months.
“You cannot do business the same way.”
That’s the opportunity right now.
AI isn’t another thing to collect, download or learn someday.
It’s an opportunity to look at the business you’ve already built and ask:
If I were building this today, would I still do it this way?
